December 1, 2011Rina Azcuna-Siongco- Hi Chiqui. Yup am home na. My doc says Im pretty strong because I'm recovering so quickly from my Caesarian. Yes I'm breastfeeding. Had problems for the first few days bec baby wouldnt latch. Apparently because my nipples are slightly flat. So I started to use a nipple shield, and she latched to that. Buti nalang. I got nipple formers also to wear so that the nipples permanently get reshaped. Theyre painful to wear though, so ive stopped wearing them first. Luckily I didn't have problems with milk supply. I noticed though that my supply seems to be getting less now, 2 wks later. Pedia told me to start pumping more so I can bring up my supply again, esp since my baby is a little underweight now on her 2 wk checkup. Yes, pls go ahead and get pics from my Facebook or even Alvi's. I think he has more photos than me.
